Privacy Policy

AI Secretary is a private assistant operated by Salvatore's (Nicholas Salvatore) for managing the operator's own email, calendar and tasks. It is not offered to the public. This policy explains what data it accesses and how that data is handled.

Data we access

When you connect a Google account, AI Secretary requests access to:

• Gmail — to read messages and threads, organize them with labels, and prepare drafts. Messages are sent only when you explicitly click to send.
• Google Calendar — to read your events and, when you approve it, create or change events.
• Your email address — read from the connected mailbox, to label the account.

How the data is used

Data is used only to provide the assistant's features to you: showing your mail and calendar in one place, filing and summarizing messages, drafting replies you review, and alerting you to messages from people you have marked as important. Summaries and drafts may be generated by an AI model processing the relevant message content on your behalf; that content is not used to train any model.

Storage and security

Message metadata and content needed for these features are stored in a private, access-controlled database. OAuth tokens are stored server-side and never exposed to the browser. Access is limited to the account owner.

Sharing

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties, except the service providers that host and run the application (hosting, database and AI processing) acting on our instructions, or where required by law.

Google API Services User Data Policy

AI Secretary's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices

You can disconnect an account at any time from the app's account settings, or revoke access from your Google Account permissions page. On request, data stored for a disconnected account is deleted.
